PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Bridgetines,

I begin by thanking God for his grace and guidance throughout the year 2025/2026, which has enabled us to serve with purpose and unity.

As we conclude another wonderful term, I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated committee members for their unwavering support, commitment, and teamwork. Your hard work behind the scenes ensured that every initiative was carried out successfully. I also sincerely thank all our members for their enthusiastic participation throughout the year. Your presence and involvement strengthened our bond as past pupils and added meaning to every event we undertook.

A special word of thanks goes to all who contributed so generously towards the Smart Board Project and the Hands of Hope initiative carried out in collaboration with our beloved school. Your generosity reflects the values instilled in us - compassion, service, and a spirit of giving. My deepest gratitude is extended to our Former Patroness, Rev. Sr. Francine Mutugala, for her invaluable guidance during the year, and to our new Patroness, Rev. Sr. Mary Prisca Perera, for her fullest support in successfully concluding the term.

I would also like to sincerely thank Rev. Sr. Sujani Fernando, Rev. Sr. Dilrukshika Silva, and Rev. Sr. Velani de Silva for their continuous support throughout my tenure. My appreciation also goes to the teachers of the school, and especially to the non-academic staff, for their assistance and cooperation at all times.

Together, we continue to honour the legacy of St. Bridget’s Convent and support the generations that follow. May our unity and commitment grow stronger with each passing year.
