The PPA held its St. Bridget’s Day celebration for 2020 on Friday, 7 February. To commemorate the 118th year of our Alma Mater, the PPA started the evening with a Eucharistic Celebration in the school chapel, with Rev.

Fr. Sriyan Ranasinghe as the Chief Celebrant. Contempo filled the chapel with beautiful hymns, concluding with the beloved Hymn to St. Bridget. Holy Mass was followed by a fellowship event held at the Primary School grounds. As always, the fellowship was a resounding success! Over 375 PPA members were present that evening, and the grounds were filled with the revelry of old friends.

The former Presidents of the PPA, as well of overseas branches, cut a birthday cake for our Alma Mater. Three donations were made for school development to the Collegiate and Primary Schools and the Montessori. The evening was rounded off with a series of fun games, delicious refreshments, and music.
